  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I find I get better resulsts not giving mild smokes to new people. Not enough flavour for someone who doesn't know what to expect. My go to cigar for new people has been the Petite Edmundo for a bit now.

    If you check the sponsors they carry them. And I was wrong on the earlier post there used to be both H Uppman and RyJ had hand made Culebra's but have been long discontinued.

    I think that really as unfortunate as it is to say the real answers to it are lost. There are 3 good credible choices I have heard and all 3 also have their faults as well. I still have some of the old machine made one in my humi as well. I think these coffined ones are the first hand made...

    This is still up in the air. I have read this many places as well, but MRN says that is just a myth and is originally from the phillipines and is done because larger cigars age better then smaller cigars. It has only been done my Cuba as a marketing gimick as they use the tied together...

    I smoked a dpg blue lancero I got from Gale last week and was blown away. I don't know why but I think that was the first DPG I hae smoked and have every line in my humi. Made me much more interested to try the rest. Should be done by the end of the week.
