    Starting a Tupperdore

Tupperware is a great source for resting/aging cigars. New tupperware has that plastic smell to them but can be taken care of by washing them first....then letting them dry out for a day or so. I put a cedar plank ( from any box of cigars ) and put it on the bottom. Nice thing about...

Is this wrong, or is it just me?

That guy needs to have his testicles jump started by a blind man. Nothing more crappy than a futhermucking profiteer.

    IPCPR 2016

Wish this was in a time of the year where it's just a bit cooler and not held in a place with temperatures rivaling the next county over from Hell itself?

Eyes wide open (shooting I mean)

Find your dominant eye....mine is the left one. Pick out something within about 20 feet in front of you and slowly point your finger with both eyes open above the target.. and bring your finger down to the target until both of your eyes are looking at the target ( the target will be in focus...

New Grill from my awesome wife!

Looks like an F-16 that grills at the same time. What does it take to fly that thing? I'm still using one of those Hibachi Grills from the 70's.

    B&M vs. Internet

I typically buy 90% of my cigars online.....because B&M's have to charge more for running their business...I get that. What they don't realize is that most of their revenue stream shouldn't come from cigars...just like most successful business there has to be a diversified way of doing business...

    Ezra Zion limited release

Yeah...saw this and I just keep shaking my head. I like EZ cigars but I'm done buying cigars that come out with all of the fanfare of "Only 525" made...knock off the hype and sell cigars, man. I love cigars but don't treat me like I'm some jagoff walking onto the used car lot. If the sign...

    Flying with cigars

I should have added that when flying with my cigars in coach I bring a tiny little eye dropper full of DW and squeeze a little bit into the pillow I keep in my Herf A Dor and on occasion I'll read them stories and put in a little barf bag in case any of them throw up ammonia.

    Obsessive humidor reorganization

So measuring the amount of distilled water I spritz and taking all 30 of my lighters and measure the size of the flame doesn't enter into this equation?

    Praying for all of Dallas.

I am sincerely grieved by what took place in Dallas...beyond words and feelings. Good men who were doing noble things to protect and serve those who were actually protesting something that they believed in....and here we have a Police Force out there protecting them so that they could exercise...

    Completely weird aging question...

For people like me in the "old guard"....been there done that and after the third dip the tip tends to get so mushy you can't draw smoke anymore. I just take a sip of my drink....roll it around my mouth and then take a draw or two.

    Completely weird aging question...

Exactly and I should have pointed that out. Rolled tobacco is going to be dense and in order to infuse any flavor into the tobacco it should be done before rolling the tobacco...or as you said during production. Since most of us don't work in a tobacco factory or roll our own we have to settle...

    Completely weird aging question...

I've done this years ago and tried various methods using tupperware as the humidor of choice...it's sealed. The problem is that you need a ton of time to get the tobacco infused with whatever you choose...by time I'm saying at least a year. Months won't do it and while tobacco is porous and...

    Today's Bourbon

Been shipwrecked so many times on that island I now do tours.....have about 6 bottles that are windchimes off the Master Bedroom patio deck. Wife isn't very impressed with my crafting skills by using empty booze bottles.

    Today's Bourbon

Holy Cow....there's enough ice in that glass to sink the Titanic! I can drink this stuff all day long and have to be careful when having a cigar with it.
