• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

@bostoneo , I was at a Bevmo today in Serramonte, Calif. There's a guy who works there named Antonio. He's a second level sommemlier. I told him I was a cigar smoker, and he suggested some great wines. He told me, "Don't be fooled by price or name." He was extremely knowledgeable and...

    Cigar Federation Shipping Costs

Lol, I decided not to cancel the order. I wanted to hold up my end. Placed another order with Smallbatch and had the cigars in three days.

    Cigar Federation Shipping Costs

That's the big question. As I recall, it was advertised as in stock and then after I placed my order--as with others who did the same--it was advertised as pre-order a week later. Whatevs, I got the cigars, so it's all good. It just felt like a hustle.

    Cigar Federation Shipping Costs

Not that I know of. But the El Gueguense release took 10 weeks to deliver on.

I won't order from Cigar Fed since that El Gueguense debacle. Well, I shouldn't say won't, but it will be a while before my next order.

    Newbie Wine Recommendations

I would find out who the largest wine retailer is in your state. As in all retail, the greater the turnover, the lower the prices. But decent Cali Pinots can be bought in that $8 to $32 range all over the country. Interstate alcohol regulation is brutal. If you find something you like, call the...
