BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

The Beginners Scotch
HP does Peat their whisky though, just not like on some of the other islands. Also, they do use Sherry casks, they just don't take as much sherry as, say, the Macallan.- Docbp87

The usual answers are Glenlivet 12, Glenfiddich 12, Glenmorangie Original... For me, Highland Park 12 and Old Pulteney 12 are my favorite really accessible, "beginner" Scotches that actually have enough going on to still be really interesting even to the most jaded drinker.- Docbp87

Honestly, the Maduro5 line is just too different from the rest of the Cohiba lines (classic range, and the siglos) to really compare IMO. Not a fan of the maduros myself, but the classics and 1492 lines can be really fantastic. -
