• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Iphone vs. Verizon Voyager

I've got the Voyager...it's a solid phone on a much better network than AT&T. I have a Blackberry via AT&T for work and the call/data coverage on it absolutely sucks! There were so many dead spots by my house they had to erect a tower not far away. And forget trying to use it in the...

    Plugged Cigars

Impossible to say...if these are from the '99 or '00 boxcode, feel around the band area where majority of the plugs tend to be. If all is well there, squeeze up and down the length of the cigar in search of any hard spots which might indicate plugs. Another tip might be to check the bunching at...

    Need Some Help

recent box codes rotate the factory codes every month so it's more difficult to associate the factory code for the '06 and '07's. But I believe if research and experience proves me correct, PLM is probably El Laguito NOSC-SS-2 = 10/97 Sancti-Spiritus regional factory #2 SS1 03 = Sancti-Spiritus...

    Black Prince

Nice review! You're probably aware of the fact that '99 and '00 are some of the worst rolled cigars due to the boom. Chances are half your box are tent pegs unfortunately but hopefully that will be limited to only a few sticks. These are good cigars but when compared to it's brother the Punch...

    por larranaga RE robusto

The Magnificos are supposed to represent the discontinued PL Magnums from the 70's. PL hasn't had a robusto size post revolution so the blend will inherently and purposely be different due to the size alone.

    HDMI Cable

I will point out 1 negative about buying cheap HDMI cables.....the connectors. A lot of cheap HDMI cables have subpar connectors that will either partially separate from the rest of the cable or break off altogether based on cheap glue being used (yes, this has happened to me while using cheap...

    Hygra Vs. Cigar Oasis

I believe it's "Hydra" and based on reviews i've read, they preliminary say the Hydra is better. It might be overkill in a 100ct but if you get a much larger unit, then the Hydra might be the better choice with the extra fan option and calibration feature.
