• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Cigars and Seattle

All I've ever heard from Seattler's/Seattleites is that it's a horrible town for smokers. A couple of shops up there have websites, and Rain City Cigars has a list of all of their cigars, nice list, no Tatuajes though. Downtown Cigar & Premium Shop seems alright as well, any others that I...

    Cabinet Suggestions

I'm with AZsteelman - Aristocrat humidors are fantastic. A guy I know has a full cabinet and a smaller end-table-cabinet and they are both amazing. They come with active humidification, circulation fans, and you can customize every little aspect of the humidor: wood (nearly any type), glass...

    Help: should I buy this?

No doubt it's a great deal, but I would sleep on it for a few nights, keep shopping and look at a few more cabinets. If the price is double your budget, I personally wouldn't go for it. If you have wiggle room with the budget...like two times the wiggle room, and you love the thing and upon...

    "Personal Cigar Kits"

Tommy Bahama makes a neat little travel kit, comes with a lighter, one or two cigar tubes, some other stuf, plus there is room to add personal stuff. It's in the latest issue of CA. Or you could use a small Dopp kit - throw a lighter, stand, cutter, cigar case, etc. in there and book it!

    Rc184

Great cigar, not much of a fan of the 233, but that 184 is very enjoyable.

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

Had a Casa Magna today, followed by a Mi Barrio, been a while since I lit a 'Barrio, remembered it's nothing to write home about. Not bad, not the best, but alright. The $5 cigar trumped the $11 cigar hands down.

    Cruzado Elitas

I had my first Cruzado today, the Elita. It was in a baggy in the back room of the B&M. It was a little dry, which I think caused it to be a little too peppery, but overall it was enjoyable. I'd really like to get my hands on one that's just a tad more moist. B&M won't get 'em though.:argh:

    Reserva SW

Send me your addy, I can get a J21 out to you, my B&M keeps 'em all stocked! :stretchgr I enjoy the J21 much more than the SW. Just got to smoke an RC184 today, that thing was wonderful. And the Cojonu '03, oh man, probably my favorite Tat. The '06 left a lot to be desired, IMO.

    Help a Brother out!

Thanks much guys, I truly appreciate the advice. Thanks for the links Moro! Steve, I figured I'd ask because I know a few people's stick-preferences, and other people I could get an idea. There are usually the handful of sticks that stand out in the majority's mind, so I figured I would start...

    White Humidor

You could find a nice humidor, with at least 3/4" walls for around $100-$125, unscrew the hinges, take the lid off, sand it all down, then apply lacquer or paint it, let it dry and apply clear lacquer. There are plenty of how-to website that could help you with it if you aren't familiar with...

    Help a Brother out!

I searched for something like this, turned up nothing, so if this is like the 100th time this has been posted, please forgive me. I've never been real into Habanos for whatever reason - only smoked a couple dozen or so in the time I've been smoking. So I never really kept a mental tab of what...

    Between the lines

With how windy it is and having your lips closed like that it looks like smoked was photo-shopped in. I have yet to try one of these, price pushes me away. Everyone I talk to says they are alright, just more of a looker.

If cars don't depreciate over time, why not buy new?

Oh man, that sucks, I just told her to go try that on on FLW Blvd. The one she had a bad experience at was ABC on Camelback/16th St. They were rude, pushy, tried to chalk up another $50 on her tab until I went with her and said something. It was a nightmare. Good to know that the one up north is...
