• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

If cars don't depreciate over time, why not buy new?

It has been a while since I bought from car dealership, I go with wholesalers/fleets now, so forgive me if my answer seems illogical. First off, I wouldn't listen to anything that the dealership offers as an explination. Auto manufacturers also make their money from the quantity of cars that...

Traveling coast to coast on Tuesday - Accessory help

Man I'm sure they go through hell putting up with attitudes. I watched a guy get loud with a TSA guy because he was asked to ste aside to be more thoroughly searched...the guy had a pistol holster on his belt.

    Anejo no 49

I tried my irst one the othe day and I was pretty suprised by it. I'm partial to Nicaraguan cigars, but this had a nice flavor, little change of pace. Bill - Where is a good B&M in Valencia? ... I'm heading up there soon. I used to date a girl that lived up there, but it was during my...

Traveling coast to coast on Tuesday - Accessory help

*Refillable lighter carry-on is a no-no. Sorry for the mix-up, you're correct. ---------- I agree, arguing with TSA agent results in nothing but a headache. When I went I took a $15 Blazer lighter just in case - worked out though.

Traveling coast to coast on Tuesday - Accessory help

No. I went o a shop when I got to Florida, got a cigar from them and asked them if they could fill the lighter. It was no problem. I took my 30ct. Xikar case, packed my Palio in it, carried it on, stashed my Blazer lighter, less butane, and had no problems.

Traveling coast to coast on Tuesday - Accessory help

I just got back from a trip to Miami a couple weeks ago and this was my experience: - Torch lighter can be packed in checked luggage in yellow tranzpak; I talked to a couple TSA people and they both told me different stories. One said if the torch has fuel it has to be paked in a DOT aproved...

    Damnit, I'm Thinking It's Mold

Looks like the San Cristobal is mold as well, just because of how the white substance is lining the fold of the wrapper. Like Mitch said, at least you caught it early enough to where spores weren't hanging off the thing like little grenades!

    Smoking Frequency and Body

I'm with AJ, when I give an "old" cigar a shot, I find it pretty underwhelming. Now that I smoke more often, and more in a day, I usually go for more full-bodied smokes to achieve the flavor that satisfies me. On the same token, there are still those milder smokes that have a great flavor that...

    I really want this!

That thing really is gorgeous - I was told that the CAO desktop humis were doodoo, but that thing poses the contrary! What kind of humidifier is in it?

Parts from a box are fine. Thinner is better if colume is a problem. Before you put the cedar in, make sure you wipe it down with distilled water so any moisture in the tuperdor isn't wasted on the cedar. If you are using larger/thicker pieces, soak them in a bowl of dist. water first, as wiping...

Looking for a tool to unplug a cigar

I got a Don Salvatore cigar poker at the loca B&M, about 5.5" serrated rod with a circular wooden handle. It was $5 and it works like a charm, I love it.

    Tatuaje P2

I'm with Chuck, there are a few others I would float to before it. I've only had the P Series twice, and neither time did I enjoy it enough to go out and buy more. For cheap smokes I still go to Padrons or Casa Magna.
