• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Humi Temp Help

73, dont sweat it, 76 start worrying, 80+ do something. Beetles can hatch at 65+, but I understand it really speeds them up when it gets to around 80, my house gets to 78 somedays in the summer, I dont worry about it, but I freeze certain sticks upon arrival.

    Tat Black Storage ?

I just left mine in the foil in the jar, hopefully I can wait until the new year to open them up, it is sitting on the mantle in my bedroom. I left the 69% boveda in it and I put a few drops of 75% distilled/25 % PG in the humidifier that came with it every once in awhile.

    Opus X Love Story

I wouldn't get your hopes up to high, I bet they are gone from Casa as well. Have them pick up a couple Casa Corona Gordas though, overpriced, but still good smokes, I smoked my last one the other day really pleasent smoke, wish I had a couple more.

I smoked one, excellent smoke. I think 55 people got boxes over at CF. I heard that prometheus is going to be selling them this year.

Montecristo Platinum Petite No. 2 Torpedo

I like the petite no 2 size, they are worth a try, but the cigars are only so so, IMO. I like that they come in a tin you can throw in your golf bag.

Looking for a Pipe, willing to trade cigars for pipe!!!!

Under $100 I would look at a peterson or a savenelli, both are easy to find and tend to be great pipes. I would also recommend a boswell. http://www.boswellpipes.com/Pipesforsale/Sale%20Pipes.html Contact them, they are great and will custom make a pipe for you for around $100.

    Using Canisters

I store my bulk pipe tobacco in those stainless steel jars with the mason jar type lid, works great and keeps the tobacco fresh for a loooong time...

    Padron 80th worth it?

IMHO, no, I think I like PAM 64s almost as much for a lot less. They taste more like a 26 then 64.
