BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

A Coolidor Primer

Great advice! I'm putting my Igloodor together now (54 ct) with four cedar trays, one lbs. of 65% HF beads, and a digital hygrometer. Should be good for long term storage! Quick note, IMO having a mini fan inside a coolidor is overkill and you will end up buying batteries left and right...

+1 I think that's pretty much a given......they are like the Wall Mart of cigars! Cheap crap, with intrusive marketing and crappy customer service.

How long should they "soak"

Used the Boveda packets for two of my digital hygrometers, and it works like a charm. Why take the risk of using the mercurial salt test when for three dollars you can have a proven calibration tool for your prized smokes!

Liga Privada T52 Construction Issues

You got a bad cigar, plain and simple. When you're dealing with something hand made, there is a certain degree of margin of error. It happens (not just with cigars, anything hand made), and I would suggest revisiting the T52 after it sits in a well seasoned humidor for a few months. The aging...

It was a gift, and it was purchased from Thompson. I would never recommend buying cigars from Thompson unless you want dried up or beetle infested dog sticks.....but they have a decent selection of humidors, lighters etc. :smokingbo

This humidor was a gift, on back order for months, and I am using it for most of my singles. It says 150 count (I will be lucky to get 100-125) and while I'm waiting for my 65% HF beads, cedar trays and second digital hygrometer for my Igloo coolidor project for my long term storage, I thought...
