  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I would start over......buy a couple samplers, discount bundles of some quality smokes, re-season your humidor, buy a digital hygrometer and some 65% beads for 50 bucks and move on with your life!

    why not just run a live link through your laptop camera (video feed to your digital), and you would always be able to check in on your RH through your cell phone?

    +1 65% should not yield dry cigars......use the Boveda calibration packet, and go from there. The cedar trays are only $10.00, they smell great and I have four of them in my coolidor for my singles so you can always go that route as well.

    Adding cigars can sometimes cause a spike in RH because there is less room inside the humidor, and your humidification agent isn't supplying humidity for an entire empty box. It should settle over the next week or so, and just be happy that your humidor is holding humidity, unlike so many desk...
