• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

CAO Cuban Box Press Italia (Burn Issues)

:applause: I'm glad it's not just me....just too many quality smokes for around 5 bucks that I would rather smoke!

Dont' get mad at me, I tried.

It's easy for me living in Japan. I have to order online, or go out to a cigar club near Tokyo and buy CC's..........I guess I get the best of both worlds!

CAO Cuban Box Press Italia (Burn Issues)

Got a cheap box sampler of these and decided to fire one up. Nice looking Honduran box press 4 7/8 x 50, decent smelling colorado maduro wrapper. Initial draw was on the firm side, nothing special palate wise. Dark pepper, earthy tobacco. First third is beginning to spice up...

About to Walk Into A Cigar Shop

Great advice! Can't go wrong with a Padron 2k-6k, Oliva Serie V, AF, Cubao, DP 601's, Alec Bradley (Tempus, Sun Grown) all very good smokes at around 5-7 bucks per stick. Nothing wrong with striking up some cogent dialogue with the B&M staff, telling them about yourself (likes and dislikes)...

    Oliva G

Trying to relax after the largest earthquake in Japanese history, so I went outside for a quick smoke. I'm sure most of you have smoked the Oliva Serie G Special G. 3 3/4 x 48 Maduro, Nicaraguan, medium-full body. Nice almost seemless construction, cool little perfecto shape, clean double...

    I Like CAO

I have a couple CAO's in my humidor, and they are definitely a decent every day smoke. The quality has slipped a little recently, and CAO's are notoriously plagued with burn issues. So far the few I have smoked from a recent cuban box press sampler I purchased a couple months ago have been...

    Newbie from Japan!

Thanks everyone! Me and the family are doing well, and the PAO issued a press release saying that the entire seventh fleet is good to go. I'm afraid the worst is yet to come, and I pray for everyone involved in the largest earthquake in Japanese history!
