• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Frank pictures

Hey! Those crappy pictures are mine! They do suck, tho!!! I wish someone had taken better ones! You can check out my IPCPR video in the cigar TV section, too -- the Frank box is at the very end of it. It's probably not a better picture, but it might be. TYLER TYLER

    Ducks!!!

So I had all of these ducks lying around and I needed to cook them up. I figure I'll do two or three ducks at a time and try different stuff every time. Well, for the first couple ducks I cut breasts into strips and also did two whole breasts. Slathered with bbq, they sat on the top rack of...

    Monster locations...

I snapped a couple photos back at the IPCPR tradeshow, but the lighting was awkward and I suck at taking photos. No guarantee that this is what the boxes look like, tho. Didn't want to make a big deal out of them before they were released, but it sounds like retailers are getting them in stock...

    Cello: Yea or Nea?

Cello is awesome. If you've ever had different versions of vintage cigars and one was in cello and the other wasn't, you can tell that the one in cellophane is better. Cello keeps a ton of the oils inside, and also keeps humidity constant. For instance, if a cigar ages for 20 years, chances...

    Damn Nightmare

My very last PSD#3 from '01 is my nightmare story. I went on a cruise to Europe after senior year of high school, and of course friends were at my house partying while I was gone. Well they got trashed and smoked a couple of my cigars, none of which was worth less than $20. A handful of Opus...

RP 1990 Torpedo: Too cheap to say no?

I believe they are two different blends -- one that was conceived in 1990 and one in 1992. There's no way the tobacco is that old. TYLER

    Cigars vs Pipes?

Fact is, is flavored cigars are good, we just don't want to spend so much money on them and be seen smoking them. Pipes are flavored, and shisha is flavored. I have been smoking shisha for years, but that's a social thing. You get a few people sitting around talking, and you just have a...

    Tatuaje J21 Ligero Wrapper

I'm a smart mother fucker, that's right! But really, a lot of people confuse leaves on tobacco plants with actual plants. Sometimes customers come into my shop telling me about maduro plants!!! Just wanted to clear up any confusion, that's all! TYLER

    Tatuaje J21 Ligero Wrapper

Corojo and Criollo are tobacco plants. Ligero is a name for a leaf found on the plants. Volado, seco, ligero, etc. refer to the specific location of the leaves on the plants. Ligero, which I think means 'light', refers to the top leaves, which get the most sunlight and are therefore the...

What is your most desired cigar?

yes, they're pricey. But what a cool stick from my birth year! I saw one at the cigar museum in the basement of the JJ Fox store in London. It was spectacular! One of these days I'll just have to cough up a grand or so and get one. TYLER

Tatuaje Evening in LA! Anybody Around?

If you're thinking fuller-bodied, I would go with a 5-5/8 x 46. I always associate lonsdales with finesse and elegance, but CGs are the perfect powerhouse cigar. Whatever you do decide to go with, you know we'll buy it up! TYLER
