I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
I definitely agree that trying to profitize the hobby could remove some of the fun, which is why I was considering a sole proprietorship in order to handle everything at my own pace. My biggest thing is that since I share my homerolls so often, I have many people asking to purchase. Thus the...
Hey guys, been awhile since I have posted, but I’m still rolling And loving every minute. Just wondering if any of you have tried making some profit from your cigars? I’m currently thinking of starting a small business to sell cigars. I have looked into the FDA regulations and that may be the...
I have been rolling for almost 10 months now and, in general, I roll way more cigars than I can smoke. I’m still trying different blends and my sticks have made significant progress. However, in order to not get inundated with sticks, Ilike to gift them to people who are close to me when they...
I don’t have the opportunity to smoke all of my sticks, o roll faster than I can smoke mine. A significant portion of mine go to friends and coworkers. But even through that, I still have a growing collection.
As I have gotten more proficient with my rolls, I have seen some of the mistakes I made early on. Things such as ordering too much variety, not knowing what I was ordering, etc. I feel that I am at the point that I have found a binder and wrapper that I am comfortable using and that I understand...
So here I am, sitting at work, wondering when people will post verdicts on the cigars they smoke as they post the pictures. Nothing quite like seeing a beautiful stick, but now knowing how it was... I NEED DETAILS!!!!!!

The other day I rolled 11. As I unwrapped 1 cigar, I would bunch with the scraps, reuse the paper wrapping, and wrapping another cigar, this kept my paper mold on a 30 min rotation more or less.
I just used paper to mold some Fectos, and then folded the last bit older to hold the paper tight. But my wife is a teacher and she has large sheets of paper that I “procured”. The sheets are 14 by like 24
Your sticks are looking fine for where you are at, look at the progress I made over 6 months. Imagine where you will be if you keep it up more than I have!
I use the same thing, it is super cheap and has enough for 5+ years or more. It doesn’t have any taste that I am aware of and it gets really sticky. One thing I would caution is that you get accustomed to the scent so that when the scent changes you can recognize of mold is starting to grow in...
Right now, a dream of mine would be to travel to a tobacco farm/factory and just sit and learn from the guys there. Smoke some of their blends or even just have full run of their leaves and just try to make my own blend. The. At the end have a completely new source for leaf assuming they would...
