Mine's at that "unruly" stage where I can't quite brush it out, so it decides to just stick out in every direction it decides to. I think that means it's time to pick up some beard oil. The GF was super into it when I stopped shaving, and now she's starting to regret her previous words.
Her: "You can have an epic beard, I'm okay with that"...
*enter halfway epic beard*
Her: "So...when are you going to shave?"
Me: "Shaving? Honey, the weight of manhood is not too heavy for me, sorry".
Her: "Weight of? What? I don't...understand"
*I've left the room and am now smoking a cigar while wrestling with Sasquatch*

I told my wife I'm going full @Griz...

Her response was similar to your gf's response. My response to that was. "You're woman, no woman can understand the @Griz and what he is!"

Guess where I slept that night?

Shaven buy can't grow one

Shaven but can grow it, unable to for certain reasons such as military or office policy

Shaven but can grow it, but have a vagina and decide not too

You hit the nail right on the head with that one! I grew my beard out two years ago when my son was born. Work finally made me trim it. My next son is due in 39 days . Im going to see how long I can pull it off again. But, Im working on new employment. And if it goes through, I can grow it out as far as I want. I really hope I get this job ! :)
