Living in NY, I have been to many of them around here. I pretty much like them all so long as they dry age their meat.

Cut at the Palazzo (sp) in Vegas. Best meal I've ever had. Not cheap but worth it. Both the food and service are out if this world. Top notch

Craftsteak. Amazing food and steak is world class.
Both of these I really want to go to next year at the IPCPR. Cut has a very extensive menu of different cuts of beef. Craftsteak is also on my list as I like Top Chef, and Collichio is the host.
Cut might run you half a stack but it's worth it!

My house, tomorrow at noon. ;)
I didn't know this was an option. Best steak I ever had was actually cooked at my home. It was a 24 oz NY strip that I rubbed in a Kona coffee crust and served with shallot butter melting over the top and paired it with a bottle of Franciscan's Magnificat wine.

That is why I rarely make steak at home. That and the fact that I do not have a salamandar or access to super prime cuts of meats the top steakhouse have.

But Keens for a night out with the boys or coworkers and Striphouse if I am going with my wife. It really is that simple in the NYC area.

Although unlikely, one of the best places I have been to in a while was in Munich. They had a type of Italian cow that they give some sort of special treatment as it grows, then age for an extended period. A colleague and I shared a 3 kilo porterhouse that was amazing.

I will figure out the name if anyone is interested.

Too bad I will likely not get back there for many years.

My wedding was at Del Frisco's in Philadelphia, I had a bar tab contest to commemorate it.

It's pricey, but damn if that rib eye isn't the best steak I've ever had.

I haven't been all over the world, but for my money the 42 day, dry aged prime porterhouse at Copper Rock inside the Four Winds casino in New Buffalo is nearly impossible to beat. It was the most amazing steak I have ever eaten.

I am a big steak eater and my al, time favorite steak house is Nine in the Palms Casino in Vegas. I go to Vegas about 3-5 times a year and when I am in town I eat there at least twice. The bone in filet is incredible. Your going to pay for it but it is well worth it especially when it s only a handful of times a year.

In Orlando, I like Vines OM Sand Lake Road. Delicious steaks.

Peter's in Jensen Beach, FL is quite an experience. Large family style porterhouse steaks.
, charred and sliced for you.

I had an incredible steak at Nine in Chicago.

There have been lots of good ones over the years but these stick out as favorites.

The wife says the best she ever had was the wagyu ribeye at JWs Steakhouse in Dubai.

For me, it's gonna be Peter Lugers
