UPDATE JANUARY 2: Please read this full post... I am not collecting payment so do not PM me asking for payment details. All you need to do is click on the link below and submit your email/contact info to Bob who is the person making these bands. He emailed me today saying he's out of town and will get the ball rolling on the bands in a couple weeks. As long as you submit your email in the link below, you will be notified directly by Bob with all payment details. He said he has enough of a commitment to get the bands made. I would recommend that as soon as you get the details from Bob that you buy immediately as there are many previous customers of his and they will all get the email.

A guy local to me (Bob Ramstad) makes the best blank bands that I have come across, I have used them for a couple years and would highly recommend them to anyone. He is looking at doing another order from his supplier but needs a commitment before doing so. I am not running a Group Buy, but you will place the order directly once he gets these made. Just a guess, but I would say you could look forward to seeing these late February as he won't start until after the holidays and it takes a few weeks to get them made and delivered to you.
I want to get a list going of who would want bands and will forward to him so he can get some numbers. I want to get him 25,000 bands committed. He does these across a few boards and needs 50,000 total. He doesn't need all 50k spoken for upfront, but does need to see a firm commitment before moving forward.

Also and more importantly, add your name and quantity below. If you add your name, consider yourself committed. I don't want to see any maybes. Regarding the bands, the adhesive is the best you will find and the quality is bar none.

This was his pricing last year... it might not be exactly the same this buy, but very similar I would imagine: The preferred quantity is $40 for 1000 bands. 500 bands is $25 and 2000 bands is $75. (Add $35 for each additional 1000.) I prefer checks and money orders. Poopal is OK but slightly more $$ to cover the fees. I'll also consider trades for cigars, pipe tobacco or pipes.
Again, timing is just a guess on my part. It could take longer so if you need them now, this isn't for you. If you have a few people close together, I would recommend someone being the front person to order, then split amongst yourselves.
