BOTL Gives Back - Operation Esteli, 2014

*** ANNOUNCEMENT ***
Here's a little motivation for any of you thinking about whether or not to bid on an auction, buy a t-shirt, or make a direct donation to Operation Esteli...
E, Brad, and I have been chatting about how cool it would be to have some members present in Esteli when we go to Nica in September to meet the kids and teachers, hang our big banner in the school, deliver items we have collected, and oversee delivery of funds..
So here's the deal....
The three members that raise the most money for Operation Esteli, 2014 will be extended invitations to go with BOTL and MPI representatives to Nica and participate in the delivery of OE 2014. The cost of tickets, hotels, and meals will be on you (we dont want to pull away from donated funds and add costs to the execution of the project).. but we'll make sure all of your transportation in country is taken care of and that you are an active participant in all activities from the minute we hit the ground in Nicaragua.
ALL contributions made between April 12th and June 30th, 2014.. to include purchasing of items like t-shirts, auction wins, raffle ticket purchases, direct donations, etc.. will count toward a members overall "contribution".... anything that you do that results in funds getting put into OE 2104 counts..
You must be a member in good standing on this board at the time of project execution (September) to be eligible to win... and you must have already been a member of this board prior to the initial launch of OE 2014 (April 12th, 2014) to be eligible.
If you "win" but can not go with us... not a problem.. this award is fully transferable to any other member that is in good standing and was registered prior to April 12th of this year.. (all you mad bombers out there are welcome to "bomb" this to anyone you like that meets the requirements)...
We'll announce weekly who is in the "lead"... We recognize that some of you may want to remain anonymous with your donations.. If thats the case, simply send me a PM and let me know.. and we'll remove you from the running and make sure your name isnt mentioned at any time...
Let the games begin! Whose going to Nica? 1st announcement on the leaders is in 3 days (18th).. and will be made every friday until the end of June..

Brothers, this is an excellent way to serve someone else by supporting this great cause. Every penny counts, so let's do this.

I have a very exciting ANNOUNCEMENT to make about Operation Esteli...
Some of our members have done a simply outstanding job reaching out and spreading the word about what we are trying to accomplish here..
Several companies associated with the cigar industry ranging from retailers to manufacturers of accessories to cigar factories to cigar companies have been made aware of Operation Esteli by our membership, and have responded, telling us that they would like to participate and help us reach our goals... We've also had companies wholly unrelated to the cigar industry make commitments to making cash contributions on behalf of their employees that are members here..
The last few days have simply been amazing guys... there is so much going on behind the scenes and so many people jumping in and getting involved.. it really has been inspiring to see what people can (and will) do when given an opportunity to do good things..
Over the next few days we'll release some of the company names, let you know what they are up to, and how they are helping support Operation Esteli..
Do us a favor... when we tell you about these companies.. support them! spread the word about what they are doing, and how when asked, they stepped up and chose to help us give back to those that have given all of us so much.... share the posts we'll be making about them on the BOTL and MPI facebook, instagram, and twitter, etc.... these guys are helping us make a difference.. they deserve our support in return..

Las Cumbres Tabaco has agreed to make a Senorial donation to Operation Esteli, 2014.
