Also I think 4 cigars a week is what we should shoot for as a minimum. Remember that can be a month or 2 avg.
And as far as a 3rd category (tight draws) I'll think about the benefits/harm in the next couple of weeks.

I am down. I am almost exclusively NC because of my grad-student status, but I am also a stats-whiz because of my grad-student status. If you need any help designing the survey or crunching the numbers, I am more than happy to help.

Have had my fair share of 'plugged' cigars in my career of 46 years of cigars...if there is room I'd be glad to be a part of this...great idea and should be entertaining.

yeah it would also be cool to get universal definition of plugged too. i have probably had some 'plugged' cigars that under normal circumstances would toss but have tried to work through it anyway.

I like the idea and I could handle the tracking aspect, but I only smoke about a box of cc's per year. About 95% nc.

Bump for a few more good men. For now I'm dropping the percentage of CC Vs NC required for each guy.
Definition of plugged vs tight.
A plugged cigar will be any cigar that has no draw or one that has very little. It will also mean any cigar that will need some form of fixing in order for the smoker to enjoy. I.E. draw poker cut extra off the head and constant rolling of the fingers at the time of smoking. Dry boxing does not count due to high of a Rh.
A tight cigar is any cigar that is smokable but has less then optimal draw for the smoker.
If a tight cigar becomes unsmokable at any time during smoking and either needs fixing or needs to be tossed it will be considered plugged.
Please cut and predraw all cigars before lighting. If it can be fixed by dryboxing it is nearly a Rh issue and not plugged.
