No doubt, Steve looked like he about choked when the Yellow was issued! Gordon probably would have at least been side by side with him if not for that. Of course Burton was also gettin' a pretty good run too.

I don't think HMS is run quite that way. Look at Jimmy J and Jeff G. Gordon owns Jimmy's car and you wouldn't know it to watch them race.
