So I'm considering selling my Ford Ranger and getting something about the same size, but four door. Thus far, I've considered gas mileage, practicality, size, and various options and have narrowed it down to a Chevy Colorado or a Nissan Frontier. If you have any suggestions please mention them! I wouldn't mind a Toyota Tacoma, but they are a little more costly than these two. I would get one if I found one in my price range. Which do you think I should get? The two I'm eying are on Auto Trader and pics are below. There is one of each that I'm considering; they are about the same price, but the Nissan has 20k more miles. However, the Nissan does run slightly more than the Chevy. The Frontier is also rated better by the editors of edmunds dot com, earning an 8.1 as opposed to Colorado's 6.5. The Frontier also has a V6, whereas the Colorado has a straight 5. However, and I know how fickle this sounds, I really like the look of the Colorado better! That's not the only reason I have considered it though. This particular one also has a Z71 packages (not that I need it or am looking for it, but it helps). In the end, I will most likely choose the vehicle with highest value and that's most practical. Anyway, a penny for your thoughts? Also, please comment on any specific features you feel would support or discourage your desire to purchase them.
Thanks!
