I agree about Padron being #1. Nice to see the DCM up there even if it is the wrong vitola.
I agree Tim, it has been one of the best cigars I've had, and for sure the best I've had this year. I won't be surprised seeing Padron as #1 even though it's boasting a $26 tag. That cigar is marvelous and is perfectly constructed, w/ a razor sharp burn. I love the My Father and DCM though, good to see them up top.

While i don't agree with a lot of the cigars on the top 10 i gotta say, the siglo V tubos are amazing, the siglo vi's too for that matter. I would take a 15 pack of tubes over a 25 cab any day.

I like the fact that the Top 10 so far are all cigars that I am familiar with and all affordable smokes (though I don't know how much the Cohiba costs ... probably too much). I've smoked all but the two Habanos, which is cool (in previous years there are a lot of new smokes to me on the List).

I'm personally glad the My Father got some recognition. I think it's a fantastic cigar. I know it's milder in strength than a lot of you guys like, but I think the flavors are really great and it's a nice relaxing smoke. That's two DPG sticks in the Top Ten! Way to go, Don Pepin!

Oh, and I too would love to see one of the Liga Privadas on the List ... great sticks!

I agree that the Padron 45th is probably going to take it; but, as an outsider, the LFD Salamone may also have a shot. (If I remember correctly it was rated a 95 earlier this year).

Another that hasn't been mentioned is the Padron 64 anni. Series A. It scored a 95 this year and could take the top spot.

that's what I guessed in the contest (maduro version).
Didn't see that over there, nice pick. I think that might just take it, more widely available and scored a bit higher. On the other hand there wasn't as much buzz surrounding it though.
