Always interested in them and had a feeling i'd like them even when I was younger. bought my first humidor shortly after turning 18.

I got started through a coat and tie scotch tasting event where they handed out crappy Warlock and Macanudo cigars. I had 17 shots of whisky that night and smoked both cigars in the rain with friends. Not knowing there were better sticks out there, I still had an awesome time and started exploring the types of cigars that paired well with the scotches I drink. Proud to say I never returned to Warlock or Macanudo.

Was a tobacco shop in the mall in Amarillo TX and i was in college and loved the smell so i'd go there while the gf was shopping and eventually bought one and it was on from there!

Started out smoking on special occasions (weddings, babies). My friends Steven and Todd were really into the hobby and I became more serious after hanging out with them. Really got bit by the bug and took a fast ride down the "slippery slope" after buying a few extra cigars, looking on the internet for the best way to store them and stumbling upon BOTL. Never looked back.
