I haven't met very many in the industry, but hey JD was very chill and showed his passion for cigars. For me, that's all that matters.

Willy Herrera; met him at an event in the chicago area and he called me over as he was rolling to take time to explain the different types of ways to finish a cigar because I had expressed interested earlier in the night, really great guy.

JD; never met him myself, but he looks like he'd be a lot of fun to hang with. Also, in his videos he's very passionate about what he does and the people around him. Cheers!

This is a tough one. Theyre all so dedicated to their product and their followers. Personally, I'd have to put Willy Herrera at the top of my list. Met him several years ago at Titan de bronze. Just happened to go there when the guy at my father was a little not so friendly. He not only took time to show me his establishment but rolled a cigar for me. Fast foward 3 years I see him at the BOTL herf in Chitown when he started with DE, and the guy remembered me! Plus his new smokes are amazing. A guy who knows tobacco from start to finish and actually rolls some amazing sticks.., #1 with me. G1

Sadly have yet to be able to meet any one really so to speak from the industry, so my opinion might not hold too much water. But from what I have read and seen, JD or Pete

Well, the whole BOTL community! But as for a maker/owner/ etc, JD is freakin awesome! I'm not trying to suck up either. I just think he's really cool, has his own style, super nice and really cares about people. Can't go wrong with all of that!

I haven't met either of these guys, but based upon YouTube videos, I'd vote for JD and S. Saka (tie)

Without a doubt Jose Pepin Garcia. I love that man. Feels like he could've been my grandfather only Cuban. Such a humble, kind man.
