BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

My buddy gave me this rear flip up USMC peep sight today. He knows I'm getting ready to start my first build and wanted to kick start my progress.
This thing is pretty sweet and I love the adjustability. My friend states it is what the SEALs use for their iron sights, I haven't taken the time to confirm this claim.
My step dad owns a gun shop that specializes in ar building so it's time I start to give him my parts list to figure out what his wholesale costs mean to me. Just looking for an all around multi-purpose rifle that will tolerate some use and abuse without destroying my bank account. If you have any advice to give in regards to what parts to consider or steer clear of I'm all ears. Feel free to pm me to avoid cluttering the thread.

But it has grown up a bit since then.
