When does KBS come out again?
Founders release party is March 12th. I believe and don't quote me but I think it will be available at some stores March 15th. It will always be released around the Ides of March.

Lately it's been:

The Duck-Rabbit Milk Stout and Lefthand Milk Stout.

Along the same lines, Kona's Pipeline Porter is excellent. I am also going to try Duck-Rabbits Vanilla Porter this weekend.
We should get together and have a Beer and a Smoke before it get's too hot to drink Stout Bud! (Be nice if we could coax Kyle out of the house too!)

I've been enjoying the hell out of Terrapin's Milk Chocolate Stout this winter.
I've also enjoyed Brooklyn's Black Chocolate Stout,
Great Divide Chocolate Yeti is by far the best stout i've EVER had! (Wish i could find more!)
Maui Brewing Coconut Porter
Dominion Baltic Porter
Fordham Doppelbock (probably doesn't qualify as porter/stout but it's good dark beer!

I've also purchased but have yet to try:

Mikkeler Beer Geek Brunch -
Lagunita's Cappucino Stout
Dogfish Head World Wide Stout (Gotta love FL liquor limits!) ;)
Yoho Brewing "Tokyo Black"
Great Divide Smoked Baltic Porter

Oh man...I love stouts so it's a long list for me. Probably best to just say stouts in general . That said I second what Frank said. Schlafly does make an excellent coffee stout and their Irish one is good too!

Dan
Maybe yous should post your list up Dan, we could all learn something.

Stouts are my preferred style and living in Michigan in the winter is Stout Heaven.

My favorite local stouts:
Founder's: KBS\CBS\Breakfast Stout\Imperial Stout
Bell's Expedition Stout
Dark Horse: Tres (Blueberry stout) and Plead the Fifth
Short's: Mystery Stout and Cup A Joe

Outside of the mitten:
Goose Island Bourbon County Stout
Deschutes Abyss
Alesmith Speedway Stout
Hoppin Frog: BORIS/DORIS
Old Raspy

Damn! I love stouts!

I tried the Old Rasuptin last Saturday and really didn't care for it, it was the Old Rasuptin on Nitro and maybe that had something to do with it.

Started the night w/ a Left Hand Fade to Black, and now sipping on an Oskar Blues Ten Fidy.

Both of these are firsts.....both very different. The Ten Fidy w/ a sweeter, more caramel/toffee type flavor....and almost a black coffee type after taste..

The fade to black was very much chocolatey, and heavy and dark. I drank that one first so hard to remember what I tasted exactly....but I didn't recall a ton going on there. Just a good, full bodied Stout.

Think I prefer the Ten Fidy of these two, although it's very different than many Stouts I've tried....but in a good way.

Kyle, I was just wondering, was it the OR Fade to Black or Fade to Black 2? :dunno:
