There are three highly rated cigars that I don't really care that much for. As a matter of fact I have given them all away.

Alec Bradley Tempus, RP The Edge and Padilla Miami '09 (edit).

Has anyone else had experience with highly rated cigars that they don't like.

I have heard a lot of folks complain about Casa Magnas. I personally love the Casa Magna.

I'm actually not that much of a Padron fan... I'd much rather spend my money on other things. I wouldn't give the few I have away though. :)

What is the DPG Miami?

list is too long. there are lots more i don't like than i do.
I feel the same way. Trying new cigars for me tends to be a game of sucking hot smoke until I have a mystical experience.

If I had to put my finger on some of my least mystical experiences with highly rated cigars, though...

RP Edge - I don't hate RP, big fan of the Decade, Edge just didn't do it.
Oliva V - I can appreciate that this cigar has something interesting going on, but it's just not my thing.
Tat Black - Smoked two of the robustos so far and I just can't seem to enjoy it the way the rest of y'all do.
Padron 40th Maduro - Huge Padron fan, but this one just didn't move me.

I think I've waited awhile for a thread like this.

I've only tried a couple of RP sticks, I didn't like them. I like most tats, however I haven't been completely blown away by one yet. I am a BIG Padron fan, however, I smoked the 44th natty and was very unimpressed - its worth mentioning the 45th maduro and the 80th were among the best cigars I've ever had. I've had a couple of tempus, they were okay but not 90 rated in my opinion.

I guess it comes down to the fact that everyone has their own tastes.

Opus X - doesn't 'wow' me like it should for the effort to get them - but I do have some aging
El Triunfador (Ghost) - no flavor or strength

OpusX, Anejo and PAM 80. Coupling the price tags with the ratings and the HTF factor and they just don't add up for me at all. I have had an Opus wow me before but I've had some 'meh' Opus as well.

I still can't get into the liga sticks. They just don't do it for me.
Still dead to me.

Cabaiguan. They are just bland to me.
Tempus. Average cigar at best.
Diamond Crown. Regular line and Maximus.
