Running my third batch this weekend......160 proof after second run, then cut to 90 proof cherry cobbler....frickin awesome and puts Midnight Moon and Old Smokey to shame!! Brandies are next when fruit is back in season.

Came up with some new recipes to try tomorrow after my spirit run. Blackberry Peach with a hint of lemon and Berry Lemonade! I should end up with just over 2 gallons of 160 proof to try the new recipes on.

Hope I am not breaking any rules here but I am interested in this as well. A little fearful of the shine but would be nice to know who makes it on here.

After reading this thread makes me want to try my hand at it and make some shine. I have never heard of a still operation in Arizona could be the first. If some one is interested in helping a AZ hillbilly out send me a PM. I use to live in North Carolina and love the shine from there.

I've only had shine a couple times. Hard to find here in the north Country. Wish it was more readily available
