Well! I normally cut mine at a 45 degree angle so I can get the smoke angled down onto my tongue, etc. What's your favorite way to cut them?

Good question - because of the way they're rolled, I always wonder just how far from the cap to make the cut. I'be been doing a straight cut, but I'll have to try the angled cut next time.

Straight cut, creating the desired diameter opening.
What he said. I hate when a piramide is very tight and I have to cut too far up and end up with a 48 or 50 ring cigar.

When I say angled cut, I usually go up the cigar 1/8th - 1/4th of an inch and then do the angled cut. Atleast no one said they punch their's :hysterica

I also angle cut them..... for the exact same reason in fact. I noticed the difference in flavor when I accidentally cut one crooked. The flavor is definitely more pronounced when cut that way.

Plus its daring and bold to not go with the flow :D
