Scott, I'd also gas up my tank while you can. Gas will be scarce in your area because of the panic created by Rita. Atleast that's how it was in my area and it also didn't help that the gas stations didn't have power to pump gas.

Probably my last post for awhile... :waving:

Good luck to all Texians; God bless Texas!

I'm still holding down the fort. most of my cigars are jammed into coolers, have quite a few that are out in the open. my biggest concern is if the power goes out I'm going to find condors flying out of them when I come back.

I'm bugging out tomorrow.

Ya'll guys be safe, I'm staying here and holding the fort down...or up. My wife and kids just left to go out of town and she said traffic is still f-uped.

I will be on till the storm starts to hit then I will have to hide all my computer stuff from the windows. Have a good rest of the night fellow Texans, it's getting close to that time.

I'm back; gonna ride it out.
I got 10 miles in 3.5 hours.

On top of that, my main computer is taking a shit. Might have jarred something when I moved it in/out of the truck...

I'd rather die with my cigars than in traffic

Down to a Cat. 4 now and some models predict it turning north and landing in LA instead of the Galveston/Corpus Christi area.
