Power still on, Sat TV buffering every few seconds, cable up (was down for a little while), not much rain and some very gusty and continous winds.

Stay safe my brother! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

A few broken branches around my house but we never did get any very hard rain. A few medium gusts coming from the NW now. Power has went out 2 or 3 times but came back on a minute after going down.

Houston dodged a bullet for sure. Hope our brothers and sisters to the east of us are safe. The place where me and my uncle were headed to is where the very worst of it is right now. Glad we turned back around.

Prayers are with the people who were in the area hit the hardest.

Still no power on at work. We've lost about 4/5 of our perishable items for the entire store. In the $200k+ loss range...

Damn that does suck Eric! I was grocery shopping about 2 weeks after Katrina hit. Well, I was going down the desert isle (cake mixes, etc.) and came upon some of those mini-hershey kisses (not in the tin foil) you can melt and they all melted together into a block because the heat got to them with no power.

Might want to check on those too...lol

Dang Cliff...you have a desert aisle? What are they doing keeping the mini-hershey kisses in an aisle with all that sun and sand?
