Looking to Buy a new Camera

Canon SX50. Look and feel of DSLR. Takes great photos with up to 50X optical zoom. Priced less than $500. I have a DSLR camera and take a lot of photos of birds and butterflies. A lenses that gives me the capability to shoot the photos with the DSLR was in the 5 figure range. I now use the Canon SX 50 most of the time.

I'm using the Adobe package for Photographers. You get Lightroom and Photoshop for $10 a month via their cloud service. Congrats on the new camera and if you thought cigars was an expensive hobby, wait until you go by new lenses! HAHAHAHA....

I can't tell you how many times I compared how many boxes of cigars I could buy instead of the lens, but in the end, the lens won. I'm not a professional cigar smoker!

Oh I hear you. I have been looking at different things such as flashes and lens and just everything to move the hobby forward and the price is outrageous.
