Mason Dixon Project - Your Thoughts so far...

Smoked the South. Thought it was ok, but not spectacular. Going for the North right now. Starting off nice.

I thought the south was good for what it was. Would make a good "stronger" morning smoke. Need to get my hands on a northern

Finished off the North. Was a good smoke. I'd like to try them again back to back on a fresh palate because I had a couple others earlier in the day. From what I remember, not much change from when they first came out.

Thanks Jay! I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. Solid oak so it has held up over the last couple years since it was built. Put it together with a Kreg jig. Worked great.

Solid work brother! I think I am going to have to do something like that in my smoking room at the new house.

If I had to do it over again, I might add a third shelf in the middle. And one thing I definitely missed was running a bead of silicone around the inside perimeter because some of the 2-part resin dripped through. Always learning the hard way!

Nothing "wrong" with South though.

Didn't feel like cleaning it off for a pic. Bands in similar fashion on the bottom shelf as well. I believe there is a better pic somewhere on this forum as well.
