As some of you know, my "man cave" (basement) was done in the Augusta motief. My local has had this humi and I have been wanting it for 3 years and I just can't seem to overcome the $1000 that they wanted for it. It is hand painted and this is the only one I've ever seen.

I approached them today and they said $500 cash.

I still don't think that it is worth that. Plus, I would be kilt if I spent $500 right now with what I have been buying lately.

What are your thoughts? Is it worth it?

Man, that's tough. It's a wonderful looking humidor, and I completely understand why you would want it, but I would also be questioning the price. Is there any more information about the humidor? Is the humi hand-made or is it a mass-produced humi that a local artist painted? If mass-produced, I don't care how nice or exclusive the artwork is, it isn't worth that...at least until you have made 110% sure that it is perfectly put together and seals tighter than a new prisoner's but cheeks.

I'd rather put that $500 towards a nice, big, cabinet humidor. I value space more than anything. That's me, though...

It is hand painted and signed. It is also very well made and the seal is perfect.

But still, $500? As much as I want it I just don't see it worth $500

Wait another week and see if you still need it. Prob fill that humi up with more smokes that you had to sell during the build.

I say pass for now... if you really had to have it you'd have already bought it at whatever the cost and be showing us a pic in your man cave.
3 years and no one wanted it? I say keep bugging em every few months until you bring the price down enough to justify the purchase.

Your all absolutely right. As much as it would be the cherry on the top for my man cave, there are sure other things I could put $500 towards. Especially when I am contemplating a walk in. Thanks for the proper guidance. I was definitely twitching over this.

I would rather put that money towards something else, but I'm not you and I don't like golf. So, if you like it and you're not going into debt for it, buy it. Might not be worth $500 to anyone else but it's not about anyone else.
