  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

name that movie!

"You take a standard G.I sock, cram it with as much Composition B as it can hold, rig up a simple fuse, the coat the whole thing with axel grease. Now when you throw it, it should stick. Its a bomb that sticks, its a "sticky bomb". Think of a better way to knock out the tracks, I'm all ears."

"This is Ambassador XXXXX of the XXXXX . XXXXX is under our protection. Withdraw or be destroyed."
"Negative. We have authorite here. Do not force us to engage your ship."
"Why not? Only one XXXXX captain has ever survived battle with a XXXXX fleet. He is behind me. You are in front of me. If you value your lives, be somewhere else!"

Well it could/might be Major Payne

....but if you are referring to that movie the complete quote is "See what we have here is a failure to communicate"

....and it was used in Johnny Bravo as "What we have here is a failure to communicate"

How about a hint?
Sure.

Hint 1:
The director of the film has a new movie coming out soon starring an actor who starred in one of the movies directed by the man who directed one of the films nominated for best film by this year's Academy Awards

Hint 2:
The movie's about a sport (ncstogie's sort of on the right track)

Hint 3:
It was made in 1980 and is in black and white

Hint 4:
The director and the leading actor of the film have made many movies together, a lot of them violent

Hint 5:
The leading actor gained a lot of weight for the role

"I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area, and you multiply, and multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet, you are a plague, and we are the cure."
