Rachel and I still have not gotten any sort of positive response in our job search.

At this time the herf is still on for Nebraska.

Anyone that has already purchased tickets please PM me.

For those of you that have not purchased them yet please hold off for now.

Tomorrow Rach and I are sitting down and going over our finances and figuring out how long we can sustain a job search.

Please, don't take this as a cancellation of the herf, it will happen. We just don't want to risk everyone making a purchase and having something come up that prevents the herf from occuring in Nebraska as planned.

Contential is the only carrier with non-stop flight to Omaha.

I just looked flying out of DFW and it's only $220 on AA. Crazy. I may just rent a car and drive to Dallas.

All of the replies we have gotten have been asking us if we are willing to relocate to DC. :rofl:

We have talked to three companies so far in regards to our resumes and they are all looking for something for us here...they ALL have positions open and waiting back in DC...of course.

We want to see how long we can wait here because we really want to stay in this house and this area. Either way the herf is still on and most likely will still be here in Fremont.

We definitely haven't given up, that is for sure.

We plan on covering any fees for folks that have purchased already IF a change needs to be made...not likely but not an impossibility.
