BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Anyone know if the buffing wheels at the hardware store will work? The ones on pimo or VF are pretty high, IMO

I buy the cheap ones at Harbor Freight. Seem to work fine to me.
I picked up a couple of muslin wheels at Harbor Freight and they do a good job. I would recommend that you run them against some scrap wood first - the first time you use them, they'll throw threads of cotton all over the place and you don't want those to embed in your newly waxed bowl! LOL

Finally getting around to attempting this new hobby. First stem polish. I have newly acquired pipes I found cleaning out a rental that need some serious work

It's a pipe rest! Lol there's 2 savinellis, 1 is a punto oro that needs a stem. A metal kirsten, and a metal medico with a meerschaum removable bowl.
