I must be one of those puple dots- tend to go with. Get me a "drink".

Or as my wife say "drink over ice" or a fountain drink.

For both of us that is typically a Diet Coke but could be any other type of drink/soda

pop...always.

I grew up around the great lakes (Buffalo) from what I hear, most who grew up around these water bodies also say pop.

Also, from what I understand, 'coke' is a down-south thing. Where I live now everyone calls it 'soda'. that's one bandwagon I just can;t get on
I have to agree with ya , Here in MN (northern part) it is called Pop, In CA it was Soda or the Name of what u wanted to drink.......

For those that have moved, do you change as you've moved into different parts of the country?

Does everyone understand that the question is actually aking what you call a carbonated beverage?

Coke or Pop/Soda

It's not "Coke" as in Coca-Cola but coke as in it is carbonated and made with sugar.

Sprite = coke
Pepsi = coke
Mountain Dew = coke
Dr Pepper = coke
Squirt = coke

I am thinking not so much...that is why the poll is so slanted.
