Post your blade(s)?! I am interested in knowing what is everybody's EDC.

So, pretty excited. I thought I had lost this knife 6 years ago, was up at my old house (helping my mom pack up since she's moving) and I found it!

Kershaw blackout, I think I bought it back it in 2004. Spent about 35 minutes with a sharpening stone, put a new edge on it, and it's good as new. Forgot how much I loved this thing.

Ahha ! Nice !
Yeah I'm traveling to Jersey for Thanksgiving. They're all sensitive over there. I hear even those screw-on .45 shell key chains are illegal.
Going East, I leave the CCW home , but I travel with knife #2

I don't travel anywhere that the CCW stays at home. All the southern states recognize KY's permit and I have no reason to go north.

That is sweet looking! What's the actual blade length?
$190 on Amazon... guess that won't be arriving anytime soon
Yeah the Talon isn't cheap. Every Extrema Ratio knife I know of is expensive. $190 is actually a good price for the thing. And its one of the cheapest ER has to offer lol! Unless you are a knife nut, its a tough call. I really like mine though - a lot - I'll carry mine for 10 years I bet - 1/2 a cent per day.

The blade is approx 3.75". I can't tell you how great it is to have a knife that fits in the pocket of slacks or jeans with a 3 and 3/4" blade! You can actually slice a sub in half without doing piece work with it lol.

Here in Illinois, 3.5" is the maximum allowable blade length. Mine is 3" (the actual sharpened blade portion) and lies flat in my pocket. I definitely wanted something that could sit in my pocket, be easily accessed, sit flat

Hey Rob, I like my knives thin too. You might want to look at a Benchmade 530 or 531. Thin and light with a 3.25" blade. The Kershaw Skyline is another thin and light. 3.1" blade.

Let us know how you fare!!
