Post your blade(s)?! I am interested in knowing what is everybody's EDC.

Alright, Jacko, here goes.

My current EDC:

Kershaw Shallot
Benchmade Barrage
Spyderco Endura 4 (With Emerson Wave)
Milwaukee One-Hand box cutter
Husky box cutter (the chain attaches to my belt loop so I don't loose it while working)

I usually carry all 5 when working, but what I wear depends on what I'm doing. For leatherwork I use the first three, when working on landscaping I have all 5, and when just going out, I carry the Shallot...

I also, usually, carry a Bradley Kimura V balisong (Butterfly knife) for playing with when bored. I'm getting good at flipping it...

And since this is a "post your blades" thread, you'll get to see pictures of the various nonsense I keep in the basement (there are more, but they're at the house my family is moving into). There're various swords, a machete, a large, decorative knife, a spring loaded cane-dagger... It's pretty much all cheap chinese stuff, but it's fun

Also not shown are a Benchmade Griptillian lost somewhere at my last job

A Kershaw Shallot with composite edge that I tragically lost into lake Erie

and a Cold Steel Ti-Lite that is at my family's new house.

Lastly, some chap on the first page posted their razor.. I might as well include mine. They have to count as "blades".

There. That's about it.

Oh, and please forgive the photo quality. All I have to take pictures is my iPod.

EDIT: Man, I really wish I had a better camera/photo taking skills. Those razors are beautiful, but I make 'em look crappeh

EDIT EDIT: Orite, I forgot to mention - I've just ordered two more butterfly knives. Custom ones made by Nathan Dewey called The Fiend and the Arch Fiend. Excited for those!

That's some brave flipping bro'. I have a balisong. Haven't had it out in forever, but used to flip it all the time until I could do it without thinking. That being said, mine was a SINGLE edge, lol.

I just picked up a Spyderco Salt 1 as an EDC. Rust proof (effectively,) really light, and has a very low profile. I just clip it into my pocket and forget about it for the rest of the day.

Hey Dr. Xikar, do you shave with those straights? Are there any other fellow straight shavings on this forum? Cigars, guns, knives, and wet shaving?! I may have found my perfect hangout!

Anywho, here's my daily carry. It came in handy because today I had to break up a fight where a girl was beating another with a metal baton...(no joke)

Benchmade Skirmish... Nice. Those are some beautiful knives.

And yeah, I shave with the straights. More than that, I am self employed (until just recently) by doing razor work. I buy antique straight razors, buff them, polish them, hone them, strop them and sell them. I also make strops, and hone other people's razors. It's fun, and it pays well enough for someone in college with a relatively low cost of living.

Right on brother! You just gained a customer. I recently had a razor sharpened by Larry from whippeddog.com but next time I need something honed I'll be sending you a PM

Lynn Abrams posted here a few times, but I haven't seen him on in quite a while.
God DAMN, it is a small world. I used to visit Lynn's house on the weekend - He's where I learned pretty much everything I know about straight razors. Then he moved to Missouri.

A few months ago I was hanging out at the B&M near my house (Village Tobacconist - Great place) and we got talking about straight razors somehow. The employee (Matt) mentioned that, prior to moving, Lynn Abrams used to frequent that cigar shop and asked if I knew him.

Hehe, it's a small world.

Sweet! Thanks!

Although, Larry Andro makes some great, inexpensive strops. No frills, no nonsense, just a good product at a good price. And he's a nice guy with a good hand at honing!

My EDC is a CRKT M-13SF carried tip up clipped in right pocket for easy access and a Leatherman Skeletool in my left cargo pocket. I have others at home, but I only brought the EDC and some multi-tools with me here on this deployment. I also have a HI 16.5" British Army Service model Khukhuri I purchased while here, but I may not be able to get it back home, which is sad but if it comes to that I will get another.

I also recently started shaving with a straight razor. I got myself a George Wostenholm & Sons 11/16" from Larry @ WhippedDog along w/ Poor Man's Strop kit. Its been a fun experience so far and I'm liking it more than DE shaving for sure.

I'll try to get some pics, but they'll suffer since all I have here to take pictures with is my phone.

Do you have a site for sales? I've been looking at a shaving set purchase in the near future and would love to do something vintage if possible.
