Chances are, most of us, have all interacted with famous musicians, actors, politicians, in our days. Share your stories, who you met, and how. And please, nothing inorganic (like VIP packages, meet and greets).

My list is small, but it is what it is:

The drummer from Walk the Moon (before they were ever popular), commented on his red pants at a festival in Maryland, in the crowd, we chatted for a bit.

Mac Lethal, one of my favorite mc's, met him at a small venue, we drank craft beer together and also were in an altercation with some asshole. Signed shirts, bunch of dialogue, cool dude.

Kal Penn, (from Harold n Kumar), met him at Peculier Pub in NYC. Literally standing right next to me with a few buddies. Shook hands, grabbed a pic, offered a shot (he declined) but stayed in the same spot for hours. With very little ppl bothering him.

Chris Brown, me, my gf and a few friends, snapchatted with him randomly as hell. He was with his kid, again random, but it lasted for 5 mins of conversation. Totally random.

Aurora (singer) has responded to multiple PM's via facebook, I find that very genuine.

Nili Brosh (female guitarist) and I have chatted a few times. Very talented.

Met Governor Corzine at my college in ~2006 (NJIT) he walked right past me, I told him to fuck himself. This was during the post office strike. He had like, 6 bodyguards.

Also know the singer of Zebra, been to many shows, conversed, etc.

I'm sure many of you have plenty of great stories, lets hear them!

Was early 85 at some LA Forum show and got a light across a chain linked fence from Vince Neil. BS'd for a for minutes . Good dude ...Knew the owner of The Strand in Redondo Beach . Got in the VIP lounge with a very cheerful Jim Carrey doing stand up right before Ace Ventura. I was abit star struck and too drunk to meaningfully take in the moment... Oscar de la Hoya at Cesar's Palace leaving from the Jorge "Maromero" Páez fight venue - Nice guy with a Very Hot girl. 2 week GJJ Boot Camp Training with Royce & Rorian Gracie in Torrance at the Gracie Academy @ '99 / shit was intense and fun as hell.

I had a 3 way with Steve Perry and John Anderson. I have a thing for 80s lead singers. Yay, sausagefest!
Corrected it for you, Justin.

At the pool at the Hard Rock Casino in Vegas, I came around the wrong side off of the water slide and into the private beach area, and passed Gavin Rossdale from Bush. We gave each other the head nod and the standard "what's up". I didn't even realize who it was until I had walked 30 feet farther away. I know. The most boring celebrity story ever, but my buddy's wife is a huge fan of his and has made me tell her that story several times.

Met Richard Petty "The King" at a hotel in CA 2 years ago. Wife and I were having drinks on the patio by the fire pit, he came sat down and chatted a bit, then the wife took a pic and he left.

Different Pittsburgh Steelers Players, I lived in PGH area for a while and would run into some at the grocery store or other spots in the area. Most memorable was Heath Miller at the grocery store, so down to earth. Also met James Harrison and some other defensive guys at a cigar bar.

Marc Andre Fleury was in traffic beside me in his Ferrai, I gave the head nod and said keep up the good work.

Met one of the Actors from the TV show Suits at a Toronto Blue Jays game. Was enjoying the game with his father and a few beers.

I bumped into Randy Jackson in an airport and all I had on me was a samurai sword... And you're not gonna not get Randy Jackson's autograph, Right?

In all seriousness though...
CC Sabathia - grew up in Vallejo which is about 15min from me, one of my brother's best friends was his little cousin, haven't seen him since he got famous though

Maurice Jones Drew - played golf at my course when I still worked in the pro shop, super down to earth chill dude

Teemu Selanne, Evegeni Nabokov, Owen Nolan, and countless other SJ Sharks from the 2003-2005 era - good friend's BIL was the PR manager, we used to hang outside the locker rooms and scoop autographs after games

Met a few other folks but can't even remember, famous people don't tend to stick in my memory bcuz I don't care about them lol

I literally turned a corner and ran into Coolio at a TB Lightning game, to which I received a "watch where you walkin mo' fucka."

I went to TGI Fridays with Dane Cook after a show he did at my university. He literally invited everyone in the audience to go.... I guess only a few of us believed him.

I met Jaime Garcia once (he is industry famous so that counts). I patted him on the top of the head after thinking he was a persistent salesman, and he was in my way. I figured it out when he asked me "Don't you know who I am?" I glanced around and saw all the JG and MF boxes. So I responded "You're the guy who puts his own name on the front of all his clothes because he thinks anyone cares" and then I winked. We talked for hours.

Kevin Hart really is that short.

I parked Derek Jeter's car a couple times.... Chuck Knoblauch's once.

I met Eric Spencer two times.

Jon Huber is pretty cool too.

I work for a local government in MD. Considering where I live, Washington D.C. metro area I've come in contact with many politicians.
I used to work for Kiplinger who publishes the Kiplinger tax letter among many other publications. Used to see all the Kiplinger's all the time. They're not real famous but some of their friends are. I would run into them at the Kiplinger building in N.W. D.C....,
Paul Mellon from Mellon Bank and art gallery,
Coach Joe Gibbs of the Washington Redskins,
Jack Kent Cooke, owner of the Redskins at the time.
Fished with and against Roland Martin, Jimmy Houston. One of my closest friends guides Roland Martin turkey hunting here in Southern MD. Broke bread many times with another famous angler, Homer Humphrey.
Worked on Sugar Ray Leonard's air conditioner at his house and gym. He's a very cool guy, believe it or not.
Once had lunch with Aretha Franklin at stage Deli in NY city before it closed. She doesn't know it however, but, I was there.

I smoked a cigar with the guitarist from powermad one time. Guy was kinda a dick lol, kept trying to get me to drink more bourbon!!
HAHHAAHHAHA

Got in an elevator in Dallas with Glen (Big Baby) Davis from the Celtics one time. He was with one of his buddies and a girl that had the biggest ass I have ever seen (seriously!!! I think she had implants). Always, I was in there with a couple teammates and we kinda shuffled over and had the whole "high school" dance thing going on. All of us on one side and all of them on the other. He breaks the silence with:
"Are you hockey boys scared of basketball players or something?"
We all just gave the quiet chuckle and stood there. The he proceeded with, "Oh wait, it's cause we black!!! That's fucked up!!!"
That got a real chuckle out of us but still no one engaged in the convo.
We hit their floor right after and as he was walking out he said back to us, "It's all good, I'm just a Big Baby". The three of them were dying laughing and we were standing there trying to figure out what just happened.
It wasn't unit we got to our floor that someone put two and two together. It was one of the funniest short interactions I have had with a athlete of another major sport.
