I was just talking to Sean about this. I love the 320 as well. I have been trying to find an unfinished one. They seem to be pretty rare.
Rex, I agree, the unfinished caught my eye too, also the alligator. I've seen the unfinished Noce 320KS in stock multiple places, but that's new, retail. Not sure if that's what you meant...

I think the alligator might be my first Sav retail purchase...

Why a 320 versus say a 606 or a 607? Is there something about the 320 that makes it a better smoking pipe or more versatile? I'm REAL new to pipes so please forgive me if this is obvious. Thanks!

The 320 is an excellent smoker, has thick briar walls, fits great in the hand, and is one of the current popular pipes that everyone is buying. Just like the Jake Hackert pokers, Boswell's pokers and nosewarmers, etc. Get whatever shape looks good to you...

I really like my Sav 320. Just wish it was lighter- other than that no complaints at all- great pipe
Next time ur in a shop see if u can find a Rossi Rubino 320. It's exactly like a sav 320 but alot lighter. The rossi has become my daily commuter pipe cuz it's, well, a 320 and light enough I can clench it. The run 50-60 bucks and I heard Savinelli bought out Rossi.
