BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

First off...congrats Larry!!
Second....the math here would make sense, but only if Pete were giving a couple dress boxes to each of the 130 Tat Retailers. I've heard rumblings of that, but never anything concrete. Would be cool if that were the case.
If so, all may not be lost for those who couldn't score a dress box off of the call-lists etc.

My local B&M, Empire Cigars, was an "Unlucky 13" retailer for the Frank, a secondary for the Drac last year and this year will be receiving (2) Dress boxes and (8) 10 count boxes of The Face. He is one of Tatuaje's Top 130 Retailers.
I spoke with the Tatuaje Rep for my area and he informed me that not all of the Top 130 received what Empire Cigars received, they got (1) Dress Box and (4) 10 count boxes.

Looks like I will be getting a box of 10 from my B&M. Sadly I will have to pay California prices + a very serious sin tax. I am afraid to ask how much these things are going to end up costing me.

It's good to see that there are quite a few people having success getting the Monster Series sticks this year. I know there were alot of unhappy brothers last year. It seems that everything is going much smoother so far this year. I think releasing both the dress and plain boxes was a great idea. I would have loved a dress box, but I didn't want to drop the $200 before shipping that the shop i bought through wanted. Wish I coulda got Larry's deal! Cheers.

I spoke with a buddy tonight and asked him if he had gotten any, he told me he was on 10 different waiting lists and when contacted by over half of them he was told he would have to buy package deals to just get The Face cigars, which he decllined.
I made 1 call to a shop on the list the day it came out at about 4:30pm pst and was able to secure multiple boxes at MSRP plus shipping. Didn't seem to hard to locate them. Maybe beginners luck, don't know. :dunno:
Thats not right in my opinion. These LE's are a great way for B&M's to make new customers, not gouge folks. I'm guessing that by the end of the month people will be able to get their hands on these without much of a problem. Maybe not whole boxes, but singles and packs.
I'm betting that once all of the people that vowed they wouldn't buy these actually try one and see how good they actually are...anything remaining anywhere is gonna be gone quick.
