How is the of? I see you have rock hill farms too as that was one of my favorites (and Elmer t lee too). These are now extinct in TexasOld Fitz 9yr and Old Fitz 11yr tonight

I really enjoy both Old Foresters and would pick up another if I could find them at retail again. I’m loving the RHF. This has been the only bottle I’ve been able to get here in MD, so I’m trying to make it last lol.How is the of? Vising my son and his wife. Noticed a decanter of whiskey on their bar. Turns out it was filled with Knob Creek 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Bourbon. hard to limit myself to just one drink (we were heading out to dinner). Bold but smooth tasting drink. Excellent flavor.
Very nice. A little spicier than I remember the 09. Honey and maybe some oakiness. At around $25, a great value.

Been a minute
Last night 3 of my classmates and I booked a session at the Whisky Attic and had a great experience learning the histories of and facts about various whisky / whiskey types. Learned a tasting method called CSTEM, dunno if I’’m going to use it on a regular basis but it was interesting. Had 5 different (...and all new to me...) whiskies - Black Eagle Honey Bourbon, Dalmore 12, Sensei Whiskey, Old Forester 100 Proof Signature and Crown Royal XO.
Good fun too, we even drank some of JD’s moonshine.
If you’re ever in Vegas I’d recommend this place. Easy to find, behind the Orleans Casino on Harmon. Just make sure you make a reservation first as they don’t take walk-ins.

Picked these up from our recent trip to Ireland. Two on the left are Distillery exclusives. Two on the right are just duty free purchases. We did a whiskey blending class at the Irish Whiskey Museum along with the normal tours / connoisseur tastings at Smithwicks, Guinness, and Jameson. Good times!
