  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

In Fort Collins, CO dropping my daughter for freshman year of college. While the Front Range is really known for its brews, there is a good whiskey here too.

Went to The Reserve by Old Elk Distillery. Had a flight of their MGP sourced whiskeys. I like several, none were bad though. Look up Greg Metze if you want to know who is behind this brand. He is the man behind MGP success...20190821_203721.jpg20190821_204200.jpg20190821_204207.jpg

Traveling for work. Had some BT and baby Saz at dinner last night. Also picked up a 375 of WT101 to check out WT again to see if I want to pick up a Rare Breed on sale for $35. Wow why have I not had this before and will def be brig a bottle of RB home.
Having another pour of 101 now in the hotel room before dinner.

How did you like it? I've only tried the regular KC Rye.
I really enjoy it. I’d say the double barreling gives it some more bourbon-y sweetness and notes, but doesn’t overpower the rye. If you have Sagamore Doubke Oak (which is really good), it’s less bourbon like than that.

It’s definitely worth grabbing a bottle.
