  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Cuban serrano supremo, roasted almost through second crack.
Now this is what a cup of coffee should be.
Full bodied, smooth, and delicious (hmmm, that sort of describes my first wife also)

Kona da'Kine Estate mix.
What can I say, a wonderful coffee that evolves with chocolate undertones as it sits.

World Wide Mutt.
Today I'm using the leftover grinds of Columbian, Kenyan AA Ichiban and Kangocho, Yemen Mocca Bany Matar and Sanani, Indian Mysore nuggets and Killer Beans Kolossi KnockOut.
Not bad. The Killer Beans is the dominant flavor coming through.

Welcome, Brian

I guess I'm the sleepy head today. The kids are on break so nobody was stirring this morning.

Kona da Kine - Once again compliments of S&H!
Extremely smooth, mild, lightly sweet and creamy. A perfect Saturday morning coffee!
Thanks again Charles!

you're welcome. That one and the other I sent are two in my regular rotation.

Today was Colombian something Huila something, can't quite remember. I like it and will be hitting SM site up for more.

OK Dawg, you're turn, you up yet?

BTW we have an overnight sitter, be back sunday evening.

Since S&H is away today, I'll get us started.

El Salvador Lot #15 Montanita
This is one of the samples that came with my roaster. A very enjoyable cup. Nothing in particular that stands out about it just a good cuppa joe. I roasted it a little ways into second crack, which is further than SM recommended for this bean. They recommend taking it just to the verge of second crack. Though I tend to like my coffee roasted a little further than what is recommended by them (but not burnt) I think they're right on with this one. Methinks more distinct flavors would come through with a lighter roast.
