Smoking a Bolivar Confrida with a Sam Adams Black Lager. Both are complimenting each other very nicely.

Chuck, anytime you want to go to the island let me know. My brother basically runs the entire company, along with being the head Captain. He would take you over, no charge, guaranteed. I usually hit him up for at least 2-3 trips a month.

After the passengers are off, we dock, smoke #1, eat/drink, ice cream, smoke #2, then come home. Great days.

Had a 5 vegas miami robusto after brunch and a dpg blue after dinner in the pool. great day so far and still have time for a night smoke!

Smoked one of the Mac 1968s from the 3-pack special everyone was jumping on. I thought it darn tasty. Not the most complex stick I've ever had, but not one-dimensional either. A tad more than medium body. Beautiful looking. Lots of smoke. Fairly even burn. I smoked the robusto down to the band. I'm thinking with even more rest it mght be even better. Not sure I'd be heading for it at the B&M (retail only I've heard) with so many other favorites I'd be excited about picking up.

Family barbecue tonight, at which I suffered since I'm on a diet... Thankfully my brothers and I packed in plenty of smoking. Started with an Avo Classic torpedo which wasn't as mild as I was lead to believe, and then a Perdomo Reserve Champagne robusto.

Right now after dinner I am enjoying a Gurkha Signature Red Rothchild 1887.. which was a early b'day present from a friend. I gotta tell ya most of the cigars I have favored in my short smoking time have been Maduro's, but this little beauty with a Connecticut Shade wrapper was so smooth, definitely will want another one of these and what a perfect night to enjoy it... I'm on the patio, it's 77 degree's and a cool front has blown in, I'm watching the approaching thunderstorms and sipping a martini... Perfect Night!
