  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I lit up an '02 Party Lonsdale about 40 minutes ago. I wanted to see what they are like before my cab of 99's get here.:help:

Pretty dang good if ya ask me.

Monte #4. Wonderful little smokes. Sat out in the Florida room with the wife for most of it then finished it up walking the dog.

Well, I bit the bullet & smoked the Monte A today...WindowRX was right...I thoroughly enjoyed it.

While I was out of breath when I finished, it was such a beautiful day to sit out in the yard with the wife & smoke this long SOB (took the day off).

It was fairly spicy, way more mild than a Monte#2 (mostly because of it's size).

The draw could have been better, but it was acceptable.

I'd say, overall, that cigar would have been more enjoyable if it was a 49 ring gauge.

I had an aged H Upmann Regalias....very nice smoke. I will look into getting more of these. I like the #4 and these....although the mighty Mag 46 does nothing for me :wtf:

I decided to follow Todd's lead and have a '98 ERdM PC to celebrate my temporary unemployment. Man is it good! It's a little late for a cigar. I'm even smoking it in the house. And drinking fresh roasted coffee. At 12:52 AM. On a week night. I don't care. I don't have to work tomorrow! WooHoo!!!!!

Bust out an 02 Dip #4 from the Wasch-man. Interesting smoke. Very, very, VERY dark. Closest to a maduro I've ever seen in a cuban. Funny thing is it just wasn't as wonderful as I expected. Somehow I think it was me more than the cigar...I think I was really in the mood for a lighter smoke. At any rate, there were some very nice sweet flavors buried within the smoke underneath a very heavy "maduro-ish" taste.

2004 PLPC

Do these ever go through a sick period? :dunno:

One of the most consistent smokes around IMO.
I've smoked a total of 2 that I own from this new release and trust me, they become unfavorable at some point. They better get good otherwise I'm stuck with quite a few of em.

Dec 03 Monte 1 AND Dec 03 Monte 2.

I'm doing a side by side comparison to determine if one variation of the blend is better for one type of smoker or not.
