BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Linda Ronstadt - Heart Like a Wheel
The start of her “hit” years but I’d been a fan from her Stone Poneys days. Saw her in ‘70 at the Diamond Head Sunshine Crater Festival (...iirc, Little Feat was also there that year...) and then in ‘75 when she opened for the Eagles at the Waikiki Shell. Man, she was such a looker back then! Total shame about her Parkinson’s.

Still love “Prison Sex” though
Not too sure why but I started humming “Never Been To Spain” earlier this evening so did a quick Spotify search and now listening to Waylon Jennings’ version of it. Next up will be Three Dog Night’s version. Small outrage: no Hoyt Axton version on Spotify!

Released during the summer going into my junior year in h.s., I totally disregarded this album. Four years later in college I suddenly discovered this recording and the social consciousness the BB were singing about. Funny (...well, not really...) how many of the songs are still relevant today.
