Chose French because the few times I've been lucky enough to eat some high dollar classic French cuisine it's been extraordinary. For everyday eats, I'd go with Mexican.

Japanese/Mexican/Italian/Thai/Indian are all good in my book. I will add Russian to the list because of heritage and the fact that I like it :)

Vietnamese then closely followed by Thai food. Singaporian food may be a very close third as well. I eat everything. Hell, I'll eat a pigs asshole if you cook it right!

Everyone I know is hooked on it. I just cant bring myself to eat raw fish.
Its not bad. I don't see the thrill though. I feel like some people just get it because its hip. I prefer a nice tuna tartar. In fact, its been too long. I think I might be going out to eat tonight.

Hawaii has very strong Japanese influence and I grew up eating raw fish and Japanese dishes. I'll take sashimi or sushi over kobe ribeye anyday... although good steak would be my second choice.
I know this might sound weird but I don't care for cooked fish.
