For Valentine's dinner made my wife chicken marsala with prosciutto and wild mushrooms. A bottle of Mer Soleil chardonnay was an unbelievable pairing with the butter in the dish echoed in this oaky, buttery chardonnay.

May i ask your ethnic background?

50/50 Irish/Italian.

Yep, but when I was your age I was eating the same exact things as you. While I've always enjoyed cooking it was not until my mid-forties that I got bit by the culinary bug.
